How PinoyCPA.com made me happy and hope you are too…
It has been a while since I last logged here. I did not realized that there are people now following me on this site. It is both good and bad. It’s good for one because more people will know whenever I update the blog. Bad because I have been too busy with PinoyCPA.com and have a hard time udpating this blog. I will try hard from now on. I will have to post new insights and ideas here.
Anyway, as you will know I frequent the CPA forum PinoyCPA.com. I have been busy taking care of the kids there despite my very busy schedule at work. It’s very taxing, both in mind and body, indeed but I felt a sense of happiness with what I am doing there. Being able to share my ideas and experiences with people who badly need help and inspiration is a source of fulfillment for me. I cannot describe the bliss that I feel whenever I received PMs (personal messages) from members thanking me for everything that we have done for the site. I say “we” because I am not the only one who is making the site wonderful but also the helpful Mods, Quizmasters and the lively Fun and Event Movers ladies team. These guys are helping me out a lot in taking care of the kids there.
As one member said, he can sense some kind of calling for me – that maybe I am here to help other people become good Accountants and CPAs. Maybe my experiences which I now share with them on the forum can be the source of their strength and hope to move on and get going when the going gets tough and hard. I have been there and done much worse than many of you and I survived. Maybe that survival is what you guys need to push you to your limits because you are luckier than me in many ways when I am in my young age.
Despite all of the almost sleepless nights, despite all the hardships creating online quizzes for the kids and despite my busy schedule I find it really really rewarding to see people rekindle their dreams to become CPAs after years of stagnancy and hopelessness. It’s a wonderful feeling that I cannot explain.
Yes, I am happy with PinoyCPA.com. It is my stress buster, my tambayan online, where my new friends are and where I serve rather than be served by other people. I hope you are happy too.
